Scangauge - scan gauge

The Scangauge is a wonderful hot new item. It is a scan gauge for your vehicle that will save you money in the long run and in the short run. It will tell you your current Miles Per Gallon as you drive. It can diagnose problems in your car. It can help you to find out what the "Check Engine light" is complaining about.

If you had heard about scangauge1, this is different. Scangauge 2 has a bigger screen and the outside dimensions are smaller. You can carry it in your shirt pocket. It has been suggested that you wire more than one vehicle. Then you can use it between more than one vehicle. Connect the ScanGaugeII to your vehicle through it's OBDII port using the included cable. This device works on 1996 or newer vehicles.

There are three categories of things that it does.

Scan Tool:
Allows you to troubleshoot your own car, read error codes, and the conditions present when the error occurred. You can also turn off the “Check Engine” light and avoid those costly trips to the mechanic. It reads trouble codes from your vehicle and It reads conditions that set the Trouble Code. It will clear the trouble codes and turn off the "Check engine" light.
My favorite part is that it will tell you when the vehicle can pass OBDll testing. The biggest scam that I found in auto repair is some service technician telling me that I need to pay a ton of moolah for unnecesary repairs. Now I can tell them to simply replace this or that or even do it myself and to heck with the rip-off garageman. (Disclaimer) I have a friend who is a mechanic and he is very honest but that isn't the norm in my opinion.
